“This is your Head” began as a simple production process: an entire night spent producing small clay heads with a few rough gestures: form it into a ball, pokes for the eyes, pinch for the nose, scrape for the mouth. I wanted to display these simple objects in different situations. I made palces for them to experience life from within and created a sound recording of people ‘gossiping’ about them. This was enough and my teacher reluctantly decided to include me in her three-person show.
